Solidworks 2019 crashing on startup

My main tracks are all 4-way and the stations are currently 2-way. Also I do not know if my unloading belts for the 6 inserters are properly setup for maximum output flow. It looks like it's good but perhaps there are easier alternatives? Last edited by Squirting Elephant ; 20 Sep, am.

Not 4? Especially if more constructions like these are attached to the same '4-lane-highway' all close to one another. Maybe I should go with trains instead of ? Can a setup fully saturate the blue belts? Aren't even numbers better for wagons? Does really nobody have the perfect compact train unloader setup? Most that I see on the internet are terribly inefficient. Someone must have a mega factory with huge unloaders. Unless they use robots.

So far I'm okay. When it gets to my base station, I'm running 8 red belts of each ore to smelter-land. But the last car of every train takes much longer to unload. In fact, the buffer chests at the front of the train empty before the last car, and I end up getting gaps in my lines. I don't want blueprints.

I would rather learn the concepts and then build my own. I do want to stick with Red Belts for this, as I'm trying to create my own little blueprint book for early-mid-game prints for a later playthrough.

You can adjust for this by using combinators to monitor your bank s of storage chests in your unloading stations and set conditions to send the train to load up again before every car has completely emptied or when only one car has completely emptied. As it is now, your train will be sitting there waiting until the first car fills, then all the chests for the first car fill, then the second car will start filling, and so on.

Using splitters to divide the ore evenly will make each car load at the same speed. It's not necessary if you don't feel up to the task, the splitter method will work fine.

Easy to do more than 8 with my smelter stations as I can break them apart but my circuits are all based around 8 subsets that fill one whole blue belt.

Yeah, for the small amount of ore you are producing 2 not nearly fully compressed red beltsa 4-wagon train is a bit overkill, but your best current choice should be to use splitters to ensure that ore is evenly distributed among the wagons. In the end, about 4 stack inserters are fast enough to empty out a full blue belt of materials and unloading, but inserter movement will keep that from working perfectly tooso if possible you should greatly increase the amount of iron to make sure you are "efficiently" loading the train.

It can run into issues loading quickly 4 stack inserters strip the belt, so the last 2 on each side typically don't get muchand you're still limited by 4 inserters on each side even if you only need to load a single wagon.

It's good for additional storage too, as adding passive provider chests and requester chests triples the typical storage on the train station. And even if only one wagon-load is requested, all belts will be constantly loading, so everything is at work. The only downside is, well, cost. This works well enough. It can be two belts per wagon, and they are almost guaranteed to be fully compressed. No need for the more expensive splitters and underground belts except for belt balancers, but you don't NEED to balance if you don't want to.
